Njera Perkins is a writer and editor with over 6 years of experience in online media. A Baltimore native and Temple University alumna, she earned her bachelor’s degree in strategic communications before transitioning to journalism. Her work focuses on celebrity, music, entertainment news, and cultural topics within these industries. Njera has written for ELLE, Teen Vogue, Vibe Magazine, Ebony, R29 Unbothered, Self Magazine, Women’s Health, Okayplayer, Dazed, AfroTech, Shadow and Act, and other online publications. She also served as editor-in-chief of The 4th Quarter, where she helped offer a platform to local artists and creatives in Baltimore.
